Surprise, surprise.
Right-wingers dished out plenty of snark over Hillary Clinton’s recent trip to Bangladesh.
The Secretary of State was in the country to promote democracy– but of course the right-wing didn’t focus on the substance, but rather the superficial:
She was wearing glasses and very little makeup.
Mrs. Clinton addressed the issue in a recent interview with this amazing response:
“Because you know if I want to wear my glasses I’m wearing my glasses. If I want to wear my hair back I’m pulling my hair back. You know at some point it’s just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention.”
Preach, sister.
