All In agenda: Reports of massive chemical weapons attack in Syria

Watch All In with Chris Hayes Wednesday night for the latest on reports from Syria that chemical weapons were used in a massive attack on civilians. A spokesman for the Free Syria Army put the death toll at over 1,200, including many women and children. According to the rebels, poisonous chemicals were disseminated via missiles fired into areas around Damascus in the early morning hours. The White House was quick to condemn the reported attack and called for an immediate U.N. investigation. The U.N. Security Council did convene an emergency session Wednesday afternoon to assess the reports. Rula Jebreal, MSNBC contributor, author, and journalist, will join Chris Hayes to discuss the situation.

Later, Chris Hayes will talk with Clint Murphy, a former GOP staffer, about his conversion to support Obamacare. Murphy was diagnosed with cancer in 2000 and in the following years had difficulty obtaining insurance coverage due to his preexisting condition.

Plus: The NRA has raised money and built support off its opposition to a national gun registry, but it turns out one already exists–in the NRA headquarters. The NRA’s massive, secret database was compiled using lists such as gun permit registrations, gun magazine subscribers, and attendees of NRA gun-safety classes.

Chris Hayes will also talk with Josh Barro, columnist for Bloomberg View, and Bob Woodward, Chair in Health Economics at the University of New Hampshire, about economic inequality in the United States. A New York City luxury apartment building being developed will have a separate entrance for its low-income residents served as a recent reminder of how American society is increasingly divided by class. Economic status also drives inequality in medical care, with recent research showing that the unemployed are less likely to get on a transplant list.
