Catharine B. Hill is managing director of Ithaka S + R, a research and strategic advisory nonprofit organization that aims to broaden access to quality postsecondary education, improve student outcomes and advance research and knowledge. She is an economist whose work focuses on access and affordability of higher education and former president of Vassar College and provost of Williams College.
