Derrick L. Middleton is a Harlem-born documentary filmmaker with a Master’s in Human Rights from the City University of New York. His film “Shape Up: Gay in the Black Barbershop” world premiered at The White House in 2016. Derrick is currently developing his next film project with the support of the March on Washington Film Festival.
