Flakka: The new synthetic drug that’s luring young Americans

"Flakka," a new designer drug luring some young Americans, is even more potent and more addictive than its synthetic predecessors, experts say.

A synthetic drug known as "bath salts, " spills out of a bottle in an image released by the Drug Enforcement Agency. Flakka and bath salts are both abused synthetic drugs, and part of a chemical class called cathinones, but the effects of flakka are far stronger.
