It was all fun and games in Ankeny, Iowa, until Florida Sen. Marco Rubio accidentally hit a kid in the head with a football.
Not to worry — the kid is just fine, according to Bloomberg Politics.

The media outlet captured the video of the Republican presidential candidate’s throw on Tuesday and published it less than an hour before Rubio was scheduled to deliver his Des Moines Register soapbox speech at the Iowa State Fair.
It didn’t take long for the video to go viral.
Rubio played college football for a brief period on a scholarship, leading some Twitter users to mock the senator’s wobbly throw, while others debated whether Rubio’s pass or the young boy’s catch was to blame for the football fiasco.
As a former high school fb player that's all on the kid. Rubio threw a well positioned ball w great YAC potential https://t.co/AibStCeWZV
