Ella calls herself “the world’s most renowned expert on Pandas” and is very excited that in accordance with Chinese tradition the panda cub received her name Sunday when she reached 100-days-old.
Bao Bao was among several other names that the public voted on over the course of the past month as part of a nationwide vote to decide the name of the giant panda cub.

With attention on Bao Bao, Ella wants us all to be more aware of how we treat animals. We should treat animals “very nicely because they are all a part of our family.”
Bao Bao makes her public debut next month, but until then, her admirers can always watch her on the Panda Cam.
