Since David Letterman announced his upcoming retirement earlier this month, the tributes and salutes have been pouring in for the long-time late night host.
But the one person who won’t be missing Letterman’s Late Show? New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
On Tuesday night, Letterman joked that Christie won the “Father of the Year” title from the Father’s Day-Mother’s Day Council because the title contained the word “fat.”
Christie responded on Wednesday:
Oh @letterman, I’m really gonna miss your fat jokes. Wait, no I’m not. #ColbertNation pic.twitter.com/oRZIhMg7ig
