Former Vice President Al Gore came on Morning Joe Wednesday morning to discuss his new book, “The Future,” and explained why he thinks big money is corrupting American democracy.
“Our democracy has been hacked; it’s not working the way our founders intended. And we need to fix it. The influence of big money, the naming of corporations as persons, the belief that might can make right if there are large enough megaphones and enough lobbyists. That’s a subversion of our country is supposed to be.”
