Joe Scarborough blasted President Obama for his handling of the health care rollout on Tuesday’s Morning Joe.
“He just didn’t tell Americans the truth for three years,” Scarborough said. “They had to lie to pass Obamacare, and now they’re having to pay for this.”
He suggested the Obama administration take a six-month “cooling-off period” to fix the website after users have experienced widespread problems. Still, he said, the political scar-tissue on the Democrats will likely outlast the temporary website glitches.
“This is only going to get worse for [the Obama administration],” Scarborough said. “They’re digging deeper every day.”

On Monday, White House press secretary Jay Carney lost his cool and mocked a member of the press corps during a press conference.
Jonathan Karl of ABC News pressed Carney about Americans being able to apply for health care by phone, mail, and in person, in addition to the Obamacare website. “These memos say at the end of the day we are all stuck in the same queue because they all have to go through the same portal,” Karl said.
Carney responded by mocking Karl’s tone: “Jon, I get it!”
“Jon, I give up,” he added. “I think everybody else here understands what I’m saying. I’m sorry I can’t say the same for you.”
Problems with the health care website and issues surrounding the National Security Agency led to the president’s lowest approval rating last week.
