Wednesday marks the 62nd Veterans Day, known as Armistice Day until 1964. In his speech this year, President Barack Obama relayed a call to action, urging Congress and Americans as a whole to do their part in paying tribute to veterans every day of the year.
Some of the 2016 presidential candidates had similar messages that they shared through Twitter. Here are the tweets from some of the 2016 presidential candidates showing their appreciation for our veterans and their service:
On Veterans Day, to all who have served—you deserve our gratitude, respect, and the best care and benefits in the world. -H
