Federal authorities will review two deadly shootings by police officers in the city of Anaheim, Calif. following a bloody protest on Tuesday night. Hundreds of protesters had gathered in the city’s downtown area to protest the shootings, one of which killed an unarmed man. Some of the protesters are said to have thrown rocks and bottles at the police and bystanders. Nearly 300 officers, many of them clad in riot-gear, responded with non-lethal weaponry such as batons and beanbag rounds.
