It’s the battle of the Steves.
Democratic Rep. Steve Israel of New York and Republican Rep. Steve King of Iowa got into a spat on Twitter Saturday afternoon in response to comments made by Rep. King on a radio show on Friday.

In an interview with Boston Herald Radio, King said, “I don’t understand how Jews in America can be Democrats first and Jewish second and support Israel along the line of just following their president.” He further said Democrats who are Jewish are “knee-jerk supporters for the president’s policy.”
On Saturday, Rep. Steve Israel, a former Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman who is also Jewish, took to Twitter to fire back at King, who responded in kind.
Here are the tweets.
I don't need Congressman Steve King questioning my religion or my politics. I demand an apology from him & repudiation from GOP. #dangerous
