Another Supreme Court Justice showed her support for marriage equality this past weekend, when Elena Kagan officiated a marriage for her former law clerk and his husband, the AP reports.
With marriage equality cases making their way through appeals courts now, the Supreme Court could rule this year on whether all couples have the Constitutional right to marry. The court’s next term begins on October 6th.
Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor have also both officiated weddings for same-sex couples.
