Let the games begin!
Celebrations rang out in Japan’s capital Saturday as it was chosen as the host city for the 2020 Summer Olympic games. In seven years, the planet’s most talented athletes will gather in Tokyo to show off their prowess to the world.
The city won out in the final vote over Istanbul, Turkey. Madrid, Spain, was eliminated earlier Saturday. Tokyo also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1964.
