During a new interview with MLive.com in Michigan, Mitt Romney was asked what it would mean to his campaign if he loses Michigan to Rick Santorum on February 28th. His reply, “that won’t happen.” He went on to talk about it a little more, but if he does lose Michigan those words could easily haunt Romney.
Lawrence talked last night with Howard Fineman of The Huffington Post about why Michigan — Romney’s home state — is so very important to his candidacy.
