2016 GOP presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio is ready for some football.
Ahead of the second GOP primary debate of the season, the former college football player released a new campaign ad tossing around the pigskin and answering a range of questions from Hillary Clinton’s emails to his favorite cheerleader. (Hint: His wife WILL be happy with his answer to that one.)
In the new ad, Rubio says he was more nervous for his first college football game than the first GOP debate, “’cause you were actually gonna get hit, no one was gonna hit me at the debate.”

If you’re left with a feeling of déjà vu after hearing that, you’re not alone. Remember just last month when he was caught on camera accidentally hitting this youngster in the head with a toss? (Don’t worry, he’s fine.)
Rubio’s parting thought, on the most important prep you can have for a big game or speech, “Make sure there’s water nearby.” We’re sure he’ll be keeping that in mind on the debate stage.
